I had to announce the first domain winner at starting of this month and second domain winner 2 days ago. I was not at home. So I am announcing to winners this time.

July 2008 Earnings and Stats

In July, i was out of time most of time. I will shift to another city in 2 days. In July I was busy in my college. But I still earn good money this month. And I have transferred my most of money to my bank account so I can make good use of it.

My Directories good Good PR I got some bids on my bidding directories. My paid directory got no paid submission this month. I think I need to change the look and re promote it. This blog made me almost nothing this month.

I got good traffic from Search Engine this month. Google was no. 1 source of traffic this month, then stumbleupon. After it Live search then yahoo search. I got good ranking on some webmaster related keywords this month. I got around 4000 Unique Visitors with 15,000 PageViews.

I still don’t know how much I earned this month. But as my PayPal says that I have transferred $250 to my bank account so Its enough for this month. I also got little money in Adsense. I just started using Kontera, I am not earning much from it, planning to remove it from this blog and add to other sites.

In August I am planning to earn lot of money by Website selling, I will make websites, promote them then sale them. I will earn at least 3 time more from this month.

How to make SEO friendly WordPress URLs

Google crawls every page but it crawls some pages better. Some pages come top in search results, why? The reason is that they are best optimized for Search Engines. If you are using WordPress then you can follow these simple tips to make your URLs SEO friendly.

1. Permalinks
WordPress allow us to choose any type of URL structure we like. DO to Setting then Permalinks and you will see this.

Choose Custom structure and use ‘/%postname%.html’, it will make your pages look like notmal HTML pages. If you want you can also use it without .html post-fix. Use ‘/%postname%/’.

2. Use Targeted keywords in URL.
You can use whatever words in url you want. If you take a look at Matt Cutts blog URL you will see.

Update Services for Wordpress

Wordpress is most famous Blogging Platform. Update sites are services that keep track of blog updates. This will help you to get more traffic. People who visit that site will come to your blog from that sites.

Here is the list of services you need to ping. Use of them is very easy, Go to  -Setting –> Writing. At downside you will see ‘Update Services’, by Default you will see only one site there. Just paste these sites there and you are done.

What is Google Knol

It looks like Wikipedia version from Google, may be because wikipedia going to start their own search engine. I think it will be poplar soon, many people have started writing for it.

Its in Beta version home it will out of beta soon. I remember orkut is Beta too. It design is not good. Google normally use simple white look but I think this time they need some colors to make it user friendly.
