My HostGator Review

I am using HostGator from long time. This is my first and only paid host. I didn’t use any other paid host yet. I have used some hosting form forum who gave space for posting on their forums. I used to do that when I had no money to buy host, but now I have money to by my own server.

Wordpress 2.3.2 is now available

When I was writing my last post I was a message in my admin panel that new version on wordpress is available Please update now.

It has some bug fixes. I saw this at Wordpress’s official blog

WordPress 2.3.2 is an urgent security release that fixes a bug that can be used to expose your draft posts. 2.3.2 also suppresses some error messages that can give away information about your database table structure and limits and stops some information leaks in the XML-RPC and APP implementations. Get 2.3.2 now to protect your blog from these disclosures.

As a little bonus, 2.3.2 allows you to define a custom DB error page. Place your custom template at wp-content/db-error.php. If WP has a problem connecting to your database, this page will displayed rather than the default error message.

Now I thnk I must update my wordpress. I will do in soon. may be in next some days. I am little busy because today is last day of this year. I am preparing for tomorrow.

Host for post is good for new webmaster

If you are new and you want to create a site. You need a domain name and hosting space. I will tell in another post about domain names but now I am going to tell about hosting.

Host for post, new words for some peoples. It means that if you make post on a forum then they will give you hosting space. I also used this. You have to make minimum fix amount of post, you can make more then that.

The other benefit of doing this is that most of post for host forum are webmaster related so if you work on that forum you will learn lot of new things. Every webmaster post of webmaster related forums. So if all webmaster posting on webmaster related forums then why not get a hositng account too from them.

If you are not new then you should buy a hosting account at good hosting company. I have both types of account.  I use Geek Point for it.
