When you are designing web sites you should give extra attanction every minute to your site so it performs well. After searching for this I found these top 5 thing to remember when designing web sites.

1.  Do not use audio on your site
I saw many people just add small files of audio in a loop that play when someone opens a site. In most of cases in annoy visitors. It may be good for games, anime or cartoon related sites but there should be option for visitors so they can control audio or mute it.

2. Do not use Welcome Pages
Welcome pages also known as splash pages are the pages you see when you visit a website. They are created with beautiful images and attracting color schemes with text like ‘Enter’ or ‘Click here to enter site’. Instead of using this show some important content on front page that helps you in creating more readers from visitors.

3. Do not fill your site with Banners
I have seen many people put lot of banners on their site to earn money. But these days most of people knows what is use of banner. Some people will close your site because you are overusing banners. If you want to earn money then try putting some text ads. Make powerful content and use affiliate links on related keywords, they will earn you more then banners and make your site looks well.

4. Have simple navigation for users
Try to put as simple as possible navigation menus so every visitor can open it without any problem. Flash menu and drop down menu are not good. Visitors may close your site if they don’t know what to do.
